Expect a scenic coastal and river-lined approach over the Kenai Peninsula with views of forests, waterways, and, on clear days, snow-capped peaks. Pilots should always check current field conditions, weather, and winds, and plan conservatively—this is true Alaska flying, and that’s part of the magic. Once on the ground, you’re minutes from the lodge and fully immersed in the Last Frontier.
🏡 Family Rooms — Comfortable, Flexible, and Perfect for Groups
Our family rooms are located on the first floor of the lodge and feature two adjoining bedrooms with a door between them, ideal for families or friends traveling together. Each room includes a queen bed and a trundle bed (trundle use is charged as an additional person, maximum one person per trundle). The price is for double occupancy, meaning two people sharing the same bed. Additional guests are $25 per person, with a maximum of 6 guests total. A shared bathroom is located down the hall, and each room includes a microwave, coffee pot, and sink ☕.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the deck with BBQ overlooking the Kasilof River, a perfect place to relax and watch the water flow by 🔥🍔. The lodge also features a reception area, a dining area with self-serve breakfast, and full kitchens both upstairs and downstairs, giving you plenty of flexibility during your stay.

📍 Where Is Kasilof?
Kasilof sits on the Kenai Peninsula, about three hours south of Anchorage by highway and 30 minutes south of Kenai 🚗. The area is served by scheduled air service from Anchorage, including the 30-minute commuter flight with RAVN Alaska. In winter, you may be treated to spectacular Northern Lights, often visible starting in late August 🌌✨.

Short-term stays
Guests receive a full refund if they cancel 24 hours or more before the scheduled check-in time. The Host doesn’t get paid for the booking.
If the Guest cancels after the check-in time, the Host will be paid for each night the Guest does stay, plus 1 full additional night.
Long-term stays (28+ nights)
Guests receive a full refund if they cancel 28 days or more before the scheduled check-in time. The Host doesn’t get paid for the booking.
If the Guest cancels after the 28-days-prior point, the Host will be paid 100% for each night the Guest does stay, plus 50% of 30 additional, unused nights. The Host is paid 100% for all of the remaining nights if fewer than 30 unused nights are left on the reservation when the Guest cancels (to a maximum of the equivalent of 50% of 30 nights).
