Our land is rich in history and surrounded by spectacular wilderness. Located on the original site of the historic Chistochina Roadhouse, guests still feel the spirit of old Alaska here — meals served by the fire, stories shared among travelers, and deep sleep before tomorrow’s adventure 🌄🔥.

We also offer RV and tent sites in sunny clearings or shaded forest settings. Our intimate great room decorated with Alaskana seats up to 30 — perfect for reunions, retreats, meetings, or celebrations. At day’s end, gather around the large campfire to roast marshmallows… and if the skies are dark enough, you may see the Northern Lights dancing overhead 🌌✨.
Each cabin has its own bath, and guests also enjoy access to our extraordinary bathhouse — often called the grandest north of the 49th parallel. Built in 2007 from naturally aged logs downed in an Alaskan forest fire 18 years earlier, this hand-scribed log structure is truly something special 🪵✨.

Guests receive a full refund if they cancel 24 hours or more before the scheduled check-in time. The Host doesn’t get paid for the booking.
If the Guest cancels after the check-in time, the Host will be paid for each night the Guest does stay, plus 1 full additional night.
Long-term stays (28+ nights)
Guests receive a full refund if they cancel 28 days or more before the scheduled check-in time. The Host doesn’t get paid for the booking.
If the Guest cancels after the 28-days-prior point, the Host will be paid 100% for each night the Guest does stay, plus 50% of 30 additional, unused nights. The Host is paid 100% for all of the remaining nights if fewer than 30 unused nights are left on the reservation when the Guest cancels (to a maximum of the equivalent of 50% of 30 nights).
