Pilots, set your course for Private Runway Monroe, WI and prepare for a classic Midwest arrival. As you descend over Green County, you’ll be greeted by rolling hills, patchwork farmland, winding country roads, and red barns tucked into the landscape 🌄🚜. The approach into this private strip is scenic and straightforward, surrounded by open fields and gentle terrain typical of southern Wisconsin. As always with private runways, check field conditions, wind direction, and coordinate with your host prior to arrival. Expect a peaceful touchdown with expansive rural views and very little traffic — just you, the sky, and the countryside. Once you shut down, you’ll hear something rare: true quiet. Welcome! You are about to experience life on an active fourth-generation farm nestled in the rolling hills of Green County. Located less than five miles from Monroe, this home away from home offers the perfect blend of rural serenity and easy access to town. This space is fully licensed by the State of Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. Take as much of a hands-on approach as you like: 🐄 Meet the cows There is plenty of room to run around — burn those calories or stock up on them beside the fire pit. Ready to interact? Schedule a farm tour and meet: • The cows Horses have defined the human experience for thousands of years. We offer one-on-one horse experiences for kids, teens, and adults (additional fee). This hands-on horsemanship experience includes: 🐎 Grooming and tacking No prior riding experience is necessary. Come and experience this integral, familiar slice of Wisconsin heritage for yourself. Guests will be camping on our active 4th-generation farm — so bring your tent and get ready for an authentic under-the-stars experience. 🌌✨ You’ll have access to designated camping areas with plenty of open space to spread out, relax, and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of rural Wisconsin. This is true farm life — morning roosters, distant cows, wide skies, and quiet evenings by the fire. There is ample room for families or small groups to set up their tents and enjoy the property. Roast s’mores under a starlit sky, listen to the gentle sounds of the countryside, and wake up to the fresh country air. A portable bathroom is available on the farm for your convenience. Please note: This is a working farm with live animals and farm operations. We kindly ask all guests to practice good hand-washing after interacting with animals and to respect marked areas of the property. The basement apartment on the property is a completely separate living space with its own private entrance. The quiet and respectful tenants who live there work on the farm and do not share any facilities with campers. Feel free to ask if you would like clarification on the layout. As this is a working farm with live animals, guests are encouraged to practice good hand-washing after any interaction with animals. A portable bathroom is available on the farm for your convenience. While you’ll love stretching your legs on the farm, Monroe and Green County offer even more: 🧀 Visit local cheese shops (Monroe is known as the “Swiss Cheese Capital of the USA”) You’re close enough to town to explore — yet far enough away to truly unplug. From final approach over rolling hills to evenings by the fire under endless stars, this is Wisconsin farm life at its finest. We can’t wait to welcome you!
