Fly directly into W91 – Smith Mountain Lake Airport, with runway access just minutes from the stay.
🌊 Seaplanes:
While this is not a designated seaplane base, Smith Mountain Lake does allow seaplane operations in permitted areas.
That means:
You can land on the lake under standard FAA/state waterway rules
There is no dedicated dock or marked water runway tied to the property
Prior coordination is strongly recommended (local guidance, tie-up logistics, and pickup)

A queen bed anchors the space, with a cozy sitting area and gas log fireplace that makes evenings feel easy. Just outside the window—glimpses of the lake, especially when the trees open up.
After a day out, unwind in your private luxury bath with a soaking tub and shower, or slip into the provided robes and head to the hot tub under the open sky.
Everything’s ready for you—Bluetooth speaker, TV, DVD, hair dryer, iron—simple comforts, done right. 🍳 Breakfast & Stay Details Check-in is typically between 3:00–4:00 PM, with flexibility available—just coordinate in advance. 🛏 In-Room Comforts TV, Bluetooth speaker, glassware, ice bucket, corkscrew, hair dryer, iron, and cozy robes. Guests also have access to a shared refrigerator, microwave, and ice machine.
Breakfast is included and served at 8:00 AM each morning.
Check-out is at 9:30 AM.

A rollaway bed is available if needed, with a $30 fee per additional guest beyond two per room.

Short-term stays
Guests receive a full refund if they cancel 72 hours or more before the scheduled check-in time. The Host doesn’t get paid for the booking.
If the Guest cancels after the check-in time, the Host will be paid for each night the Guest does stay, plus 1 additional night, plus 50% for all additional nights the Guest did not stay.
Long-term stays (28+ nights)
Guests receive a full refund if they cancel 28 days or more before the scheduled check-in time. The Host doesn’t get paid for the booking.
If the Guest cancels after the 28-days-prior point, the Host will be paid 100% for each night the Guest does stay, plus 50% of 30 additional, unused nights. The Host is paid 100% for all of the remaining nights if fewer than 30 unused nights are left on the reservation when the Guest cancels (to a maximum of the equivalent of 50% of 30 nights).
