✈️🍇 Welcome, Fly-Inn Family — A Berry-Sweet Arrival into Hudson Valley at 1B1 🌄🛬
Pilots… set your heading for the Hudson Valley and prepare for one of New York’s most picturesque approaches into Columbia County Airport.
As you descend, you’ll see rolling farmland 🌾, winding country roads, wooded hills 🌲, and distant Catskill peaks ⛰️ framing the horizon. In the fall, the foliage lights up in fiery reds and golds 🍁🔥. In the summer, everything is lush, green, and vibrant. It’s the kind of airspace that makes even a simple pattern feel memorable.
The approach into 1B1 is smooth and welcoming — open countryside visuals, manageable terrain, and that peaceful regional-airport rhythm pilots love. Monitor CTAF, fly a stabilized pattern, and enjoy a relaxed Hudson Valley touchdown.
Wheels down in New York.
Fresh country air.
Berry patches waiting.
