This is budget accommodation with a million-dollar view 🌊🏕️. Your stay includes a 12’ x 12’ canvas wall tent set on a raised platform directly on the shores of breathtaking Lake Clark. Inside, you’ll find a queen bed, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, wood stove, and drinking/cooking water provided in the tent ☕🔥. A traditional Alaskan wood-fired sauna (steam bath) is nearby for bathing, along with an outhouse 🚿🌲. Potable water is available at the sauna, and a grill with side burner has just been added for easy outdoor cooking 🍳🔥. If you’d like, the hosts are happy to light the sauna or wood stove for you—just let them know.
Port Alsworth is a tiny, welcoming community of fewer than 200 year-round residents, and it’s home to the headquarters of Lake Clark National Park 🏞️. There are no stores, but you’ll find a beloved food truck serving burgers and incredible milkshakes 🍔🥤, plus a small coffee, snack, and gift shop ☕🎁. For a special evening, there may be an opportunity to enjoy a sit-down three-course dinner at a local lodge (inquire after booking) 🍽️✨. A two-mile hike to Tanalian Falls offers truly spectacular scenery and is a must-do for visitors 🥾💧. Local air taxis include Lake Clark Air and Lake and Peninsula Air for flights to and from Anchorage ✈️.
Personal aircraft parking can be arranged for a fee, making this an ideal stop for pilots seeking an unforgettable off-airport adventure 🛩️. Guests are also invited to join the local community events—Sunday 10am outdoor church at Lake Clark Bible Church, and Sunday 4pm greeting the patriots at Samaritan’s Purse Operation Heal

If the Guest cancels after the 28-days-prior point, the Host will be paid 100% for each night the Guest does stay, plus 50% of 30 additional, unused nights. The Host is paid 100% for all of the remaining nights if fewer than 30 unused nights are left on the reservation when the Guest cancels (to a maximum of the equivalent of 50% of 30 nights).
